“After decades of working with Steve, I still get a kick out of passing a completed building and remembering the early sketches and three-dimensional concepts we discussed years before. Time and again, I can recognize the thinking from those first conversations in the finished result.”

Architect-led.

Complete accountability:
I design and I build it.

Your vision. One team responsible for designing it and building it.

One agreement brings architectural design and construction together. You have one place to turn for answers and follow-through—from the first sketch through construction.

Design, budget, and buildability develop together, reducing coordination gaps and the finger-pointing that can leave an owner caught between separate architect and builder contracts.

Fairway Outdoor Living

A pool, poolhouse, and landscape designed for life outdoors.

Fairway Outdoor Living connects the pool, poolhouse, landscape, and shared outdoor spaces into a setting for gathering, relaxing, and everyday family life. The design considers privacy, paths, views, and the relationship to the existing homes as one composition.

See the potential.
Give it a new purpose.

Architect-led development brings the property, the vision, and the work of transformation together. As a developer, House of Savoie identifies opportunities, shapes the vision, and coordinates the transformation. Tarkington House is a featured example of that work.

Tarkington House

An Arts and Crafts home. A new neighborhood gathering place.

Steven and Julie Savoie are transforming the house at 4201 Boulevard Place into a family-run coffeehouse, creamery, and bookshop. Original oak beams, a coffered ceiling, fireplace, French doors, and woodwork guide the design.

The work connects preservation with a new use: a coffee bar and service spaces, welcoming rooms to gather, and an upstairs Book Loft shaped by the existing roofline. Layout, structure, accessibility, and construction decisions develop together.

Ask before you sign.

Who contracts for design and construction? Who coordinates changes? How are costs approved? Who manages the schedule, quality concerns, and closeout?

Single-contract responsibility depends on the executed agreement covering both design and construction. Your agreement defines the scope, exclusions, and change procedures.

Select projects. Personal attention.
